Eleven Week Update

How far along? 11 weeks (large plum the baby has more than doubled in the last three weeks)
Total weight gain/loss: Still holding at 5 pounds down from my pre-pregnancy weight.

Maternity clothes: No.

Have you told family and friends?  Everybody knows now :)

Have you started to show yet? When I am not wearing clothes I feel like my stomach (which has pretty much always been pretty flat) is starting to get rounder but in clothes I don't look or feel it.  It's weird.

Sleep:  My skin feels like it is on FIRE at night and it is similar to when you have a fever, the temperature of the air doesn't really matter, I need something cool on it.  Plus, my I am a stomach sleeper.  I have been a stomach sleeper since I was big enough to scoot to the side of my crib and use the side to turn myself over and I just don't feel well otherwise.  Unfortunately my chest is really sore so I can GET comfortable enough to go to sleep but anytime I move the pain wakes me up.  To alleviate these things there are two things: I REALY really want a new mattress.  One of the latex with cooling gel mattresses in king size and I was told a body pillow (specifically a Pregnancy Pillow) would help me transition to my side, which is obviously going to have to happen soon anyways.  One of these things costs about $3500 and one cost about $55.  Needless to say, I'll sleep with the pregnancy pillow tonight but will continue to push M further to the other side of the bed so there is more "cool side" of the sheets for now :)
Best moment this week: Seeing my church family for the first time since it was announced.

Miss Anything? I haven't had any energy in so long that I now I MISS remembering what it felt like to have energy and not be exhausted!

Movement: Nope.
Food cravings: Still no.

Anything making you queasy or sick? My two worst bouts of sickness took place last week.  Out of nowhere one night (I had felt great all day and only had chicken noodle soup for dinner), right after I ate I was SO. SO. SICK.  Never threw up but genuinely thought about gagging myself TO throw up just to see if that would give me some relief.  I didn't sleep hardly at all, although I did fall asleep for about twenty minutes on. the. floor. of the bathroom beside the toilet :/

Gender prediction: Boy.  Boy by the Chinese Gender Predictor, Boy because I haven't been that nauseous, Boy because I only want salty, sweet disgust me, Boy because Ellie has been overly clingy to me lately and varied other reasons people have given me that they think it is a boy.  Not one single person has guessed girl, every single person that has guessed has guessed boy.  So, it's probably a girl.

Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Fatigue, really oily skin and hair.

(I'll post a picture after we take one tonight)

Ten Week Update

How far along? 10 weeks (kumquat, the baby has grown appx a 1/2" since this time last week)

Total weight gain/loss: Still down 5 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight. Cheez-it's are still my favorite.

Maternity clothes: No.

Have you told family and friends?  Yep!  We told our parents, close friends and then the world (via FB) this past week!

Have you started to show yet? When I am not wearing clothes I feel like my stomach (which has pretty much always been pretty flat) is starting to get rounder but in clothes I don't look or feel it.  It's weird.

Sleep:A little better.  Probably because I have not been able to get ANY extra sleep and I am WAY PAST exhausted by the time I finally get to go to sleep.

Best moment this week: The reaction from family and friends.  What a wonderful group of people I have in my life!

Miss Anything? Still mainly just miss energy and feeling "good."

Movement: Nope.

Food cravings: Nope.  Food falls into two categories.  Either it sounds like I can eat it or it sounds like there is no way I can eat it.  Not a lot of middle ground.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Laying down and night time.  When I feel like I need to eat (which is a way different feeling than 'being hungry') I have like TWO minutes to get some food in my mouth or I. Will. Be. Sick.

Symptoms: Fatigue, really oily skin and hair and always feeling so full I want to throw up.

(Not the greatest picture, we are still working on that.  You get the point.  We'll try to get a better one next week.)

and our friends this week at different times.  Finally!

Have you started to show yet? No.  I still FEEL bloated but almost all of my clothes are pretty baggy.

Sleep:A little better.  Not waking up as much but recently started having really weird, kind of bad dreams.  Very weird.

Best moment this week: Seeing. The. Sonogram!  More than amazing!

Miss Anything? Still mainly just miss energy and feeling "good."

How far along? 8 weeks (Green Olive)

Total weight gain/loss: I'm down 6 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight.  A little more nausea (mainly at night time) and a weird metal taste.  If I eat I like really salty things.  Cheez-it's are my favorite right now.
