32 Week Update

How far along? 32 weeks (The size of a honeydew.  About 19 inches and about 4.5 pounds.)

Total weight gain/loss: +23 lbs (Small victories.  I actually lost a whole pound from last week.)

Maternity clothes:Yep.

Have you told family and friends?  Everybody knows now :)

Have you started to show yet? Yep.

Sleep:  I have just come to an understanding that there will probably not be a traditional good night's sleep for a really long time.  I wake up several times a night, have a very hard time getting comfortable and have weird dreams all night long.  My new definition of a "good" night's sleep is when I am able to stay in bed for a decent amount of hours and every time I wake up I am able to go back to sleep pretty quickly.
Best moment this week:  We had another shower, this time in Valdosta (My "home."  Where we moved when I was nine months old, I lived until I went to college and my parents moved when I was twenty.  All of my dad's side of the family still lives there as well as friends who are definitely more like family than friends.  These are friends who their great-grandparents and grandparents were friends with my great grandparents and my grandparents, their parents went to school with my dad, had babies at the same time as my mom, me and my sisters have known my entire life and now we are having kids who will grow up friends just the same.) and it was wonderful.  I have so, so many memories from this special place and there is just something special about being "home" with my "people."  My two favorite moments were when El and I were walking from church to eat in the school cafeteria (just like we did every Sunday when I was her age) and explaining to her where me and her mom and aunt and grandparents did things while growing up (it was just a perfect day weather wise, she was in a great mood and I was feeling good) and there was a moment during my shower where I was surrounded by my life long best friends and looked down and their kids and El were all playing and laughing together just like we did with their moms in that very same house with some of those very same toys thirty years ago and thinking about how soon Shamrock will get to start making those same memories.

Miss Anything? A good night's sleep.  Being able to take a deep breath.  Not constantly having a foot in my rib cage.
Movement: We are now to the point where there is more baby in there than amniotic fluid so her movements feel a lot stronger.  Most everyone has been able to feel her or see her moving (you can definitely tell through my clothes when she is moving around.

Food cravings: The only specific "food" would be Sonic ice!  I love it and want to have it, fresh, at all times!  <----  Yep, I still LOVE it!

Anything making you queasy or sick? When she sticks her little foot in my rib cage it almost makes me throw up it is such a intense pain that comes on so fast.

Gender prediction: GIRL.  If she comes out a boy we probably won't have anything monogrammed wrong (since we CAN NOT agree on a name) but we will have A TON (like a ridiculous amount) of baby girl clothes that have to be returned.

Labor Signs: Nope.

Symptoms: Back pain, heartburn and some uncomfortableness in my stomach (as it is REALLY starting to stretch) and, of course, the inability to sleep.
