40 Week Update (Hopefully the last installment!)

How far along? 40 weeks (The size of a pumpkin.  Between 19-22 inches and between 7 -11 pounds.)

Total weight gain/loss: +31 lbs (Apparently she is getting bigger at a rapid rate leaving very little room in my stomach for much food at a time.)

Maternity clothes: I only have a section of maternity clothes that still fit unfortunately.

Have you told family and friends?  Everybody knows now :)

Have you started to show yet? Yep.

Sleep:   After a V E R Y L O N G two weeks of very little sleep I finally got F O U R CONSECUTIVE hours of sleep last night!  I feel like a new person!

Best moment this week:  Getting everything on her walls and done in her room (besides the bedding that should be here later this week) and spending some alone time with dad has been the best part of this wee for sure!

Miss Anything?  I still have a lot of moments where I miss our Papa a lot.  I still really, really wish she would get to meet him.

Movement: Mainly just the hiccups and her little hands and feet trying to bust out of my right side :).  Dr says she doesn't have much room in there to move around much besides that.

Food cravings: Still loving that Sonic ice!  I just bought a new bag today and am hoping that it is the last bag I have to buy!

Anything making you queasy or sick? Not really that I can think of.  The heartburn is pretty constant but I don't let it get so bad that it makes me sick very often.

Gender prediction: GIRL.  If she comes out a boy we probably won't have anything monogrammed wrong (since we CAN NOT agree on a name) but we will have A TON (like a ridiculous amount) of baby girl clothes that have to be returned.

Labor Signs: No progress.  Three checks and I have stayed at 1 1/2 cm, 30% effaced and 0 station.  I actually feel great.  Stubborn little thing.

Symptoms: The back pain and heartburn are really the only symptoms that I have been dealing with besides the obvious running out of room in there to eat or take a full breath.  It is getting pretty crowded in there for sure.

Good Googely Moogely
